PSHE

Personal, social, health and emotional education plays a vital part of children’s learning and development. It is a highly valued subject at Church Crookham Juniors School and is evident throughout our school. PSHE supports children in many ways, including; understanding their emotions, becoming confident and independent, growing as individuals, accepting differences, appreciating and recognising their talents.

Child in the School Grounds

A great deal of PSHE occurs in every part of school life through the values that we have. It also takes place during carefully planned, weekly sessions in classes. Circle time, stories, games and drama are some of the varied activities that take place in PSHE.  Details of our Health Education programme can be found in our school policies section of our website.

We have worked very hard to ensure Anti-Bullying is highly regarded and implemented.  We also have a School Council who play an important part in ensuring that the pupils have a voice. The children work together to plan fundraising and other school events, take on board ideas from their peers and represent the school for significant events.
