History

At Church Crookham Junior School we aim:

  • To foster an enjoyment of history and develop a curiosity about the past which informs understanding of the present.
  • To develop a sense of identity through learning about the development of Britain, Europe and the world.
  • To know and understand the history of Britain as a coherent, chronological narrative, from the earliest of times to the present day.
  • To introduce children to what is involved in understanding and interpreting the past.
