Music
At Church Crookham Junior School we believe that music is an important part of the school curriculum and wish to develop the children’s practical skills and emotional responses so that they may lay the foundations of lifelong enjoyment.
As well as the opportunities for class music there are regular opportunities where music plays an important part of our school life. We currently use the Hampshire Listen2me scheme where all classes of children learn to play a musical instrument over the course of a term. In addition to class music lessons, we also have tuition provided by peripatetic teachers from Hampshire Music Service in woodwind, guitar, keyboard, brass and violin tuition. Click here to find out more about the Hampshire Music Service. We also offer lessons from Rock Steady Music who offer electric guitar, drums and keyboard.
